British Columbia Advisory System

British Columbia Advisory System. White - Awesome Powder at Whistler. Red - Mounties are on the Loose. Yellow - High Chance of Poutine. Green - Bring Your Own Vaporizer. Blue - It's Raining Again.

After being confronted by US Homeland Security Threat Level announcements in the SFO airport, I started wondering what the Canadian equivalent would be.

Sleep hacking?

I'm not in bed yet either. This will be even better when we talk about it on the podcast. And remind me to always record you when we're talking.

Threat Level Green

by Anonymous

What I recall from my visits to Vancouver, threat level Green was quite common...

Brilliant

I love that - I was about to write that we don't have a threat level in the UK - however a very quick google lead me to this page:

http://www.intelligence.gov.uk/threat_levels/index.asp

Seems we do! We never get told though... I was blissfully unaware during my commute this morning that an attack is highly likely

Classic!

That is classic Steven, sums it up perfectly! This needs to go up on Reddit/Digg. :-)

Vaporiz/sers

by Steven

... are little devices that Can-eh-dians seem to prefer when enjoying some of the local flora of B.C. Also available in Web 2.0 flavour.

Boa noite, a minha irmã. :) Tu gostas o meu blog?

I love threat level Green

I did an interview with the HappyVappy maker the other day for a Choogle on podcast. Stay tuned to find out the lowdown on vaporization (just another way to consume botanicals indeed ;-)).

Getting barred from US

by SimonP

Maybe you've not had a chance to catch up with this yet:
www.thetyee.ca/News/2007/04/23/Feldmar/?utm_source=mondayheadlines&utm_m...

It's about a University of British Columbia professor prevented from going to the US after a US border guard Googled him and found he'd written about taking LSD forty years ago (I'm not even sure it was illegal in the US at the time).

Careful what you leave online - somebody is reading it.....
