Drupal is a PHP CMS that supports MySQL and PostgreSQL

Oct 22, 2005 Robert Douglass

It's more than that; the story was that when searching for a CMS (Content Management System) that supports PostgreSQL, the Jabber guys never even ran into Drupal. They then Googled around for a bit and determined that it isn't even clear that the Drupal CMS supports MySQL, or that Drupal a CMS written in PHP. Ah, marketing.
